Events Schedule for January-February 2022

We’ve lined up lots of events and opportunities to learn – there’s something to suit everyone! Come along and be part of strengthening Irish as a community language in the Cloughaneely Gaeltacht! We’ll be updating this page regularly over the next few days with more info about each of the events, so check back if you’re interested, or get in touch directly at cptccf@gmail.com or WhatsApp 0872270722

For Parents:

– Irish Classes for Parents
–  Total Beginners: Starting 12th January. Wednesdays 10am-11:30am, Ionad Naomh Fionnán, An Fál Carrach
–  Post-beginners: Wednesday Starting 12th January. Wednesdays 12pm-1:30pm, Ionad Naomh Fionnán, An Fál Carrach
–  Intermediate: Starting 18th January. Tuesdays 10:30am – 12pm, Ionad a’ Phobail, Machaire Rabhartaigh.

– Irish-medium Parent & Toddlet Group (starting back on 4th February in Ionad Garradh Cholm Cille, An Fál Carrach)

– Caifé & Comhrá for Parents (Gort a’ Choirce)

For Teens:

– Cinematography Project (starts 17th January)

For Businesses:

– An Gúrú Teic: Using technology to promote your business

– Signage for COVID-19 restrictions

For Adults:

– Gaelchara 3: partner up with a fluent speaker or a learner and use Irish in a social, casual way (starts 31st January)

– Caifé & Comhrá: Machaire Rabhartaigh (open conversations) and An Fál Carrach (structured conversations)

– Drama Club

Ranganna Gaeilge do Thuismitheoirí

Two Irish courses (5 weeks long) focusing on parents will begin on 17th November. Local parents will have the choice between a beginners course and an intermediate course. Both courses are FREE, and we hope to expand on them in the coming months.
